NORSKOG  was leading partner within Norwegian Forestry Group and this project focused on capacity building and development of new Nature Based Tourism products in cooperation with the local tourist entrepreneurs. NORSKOG also assisted in marketing Nature Based Tourism in Montenegro through websites and test tours with tourist agencies and tourist magazines. In addition, we assisted the Ministry of Agriculture in developing new legislation for hunting regulations. The main partner in the project was the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management in Montenegro, but there are also close cooperation with the Forest Directorate, the Ministry of Tourism and local stakeholders. The project was funded by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
