Forest Management Planning
Forest Management Planning includes the processes of planning actions in and around the forest, taking into consideration the economic, legal, administrative, environmental and social aspects of forestry. The planning process includes strategic (often long-term), tactical and operational (often short-term) planning sequences and their integration. The creation of a forest management plan with basic forest information, maps and management suggestions, is the basis in Forest Management Planning, but is only the first step in the process. Every action in the forest sector is planned and the potential for increasing cost – and income efficiency for a variety of forest activities is substantial.
